We are a tiny house company located in Houston, TX that brings our award winning design and construction from our traditional, site-built residential homes to a smaller scale, with no sacrifices and no compromises.

Hey there, my name is Jamie Conlan. My wife Daria and I started S'Mouse Tiny House Co in 2020 to bring our unique vision of tiny homes to this exciting new arena. Daria received her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003 and became a Registered Architect in the State of Texas in 2010. I received a BFA in photography from the School of Visual Arts in New York in 2005 and worked as a professional photographer until 2011 when we started our residential design/ build firm. I build each S'Mouse with my own two hands after Daria has designed it and our 3 great kids help us beta test our designs and builds and help us envision life in a S'Mouse nestled in the mountains.

Our Models

The City Model

$84,500

The City model was designed and built with city utilities in mind. This tiny house works best in a location where water, electricity, and sewer are all readily available. However, the City Model can also be used on a generator and with a portable water and sewer tank solution.

We currently have 1 City Model available for purchase. More models are on the way so check back with us, or contact us now to pre-order your very own.

The Off-Grid Model

$94,500

The Off-Grid Model was designed with the back country in mind. Solar panels provide electricity, propane tanks provide cooking and hot water gas. A composting toilet simplifies waste, and on-board water tanks and pumps provide fresh water.

City of Houston, Mayor Sylvester Turner's Earth Day 2023 Celebration

April 19, 2023

City of Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner recently asked us to display our City Model at his Earth Day Celebration. It was a great day with a huge turn-out. We had lots of visitors come through and tour the S'Mouse, including many that had never before seen a tiny house of any kind in person. It was a real treat and we're so thrilled and thankful to have been invited to this great celebration, designed around protecting the world in which we all live together.

How We Build a S'Mouse

This is where it all comes together. We have incorporated all the lessons learned building homes over the last 12 years into the construction of each S'Mouse. From advanced framing techniques to insulation, wiring and beyond, you'll find all the technology we use to make our homes resilient and high performing in a S'Mouse as well.
